Polatech Metals Inspection AS (SSI) is an independent company performing Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of steel materials.
The company (laboratory) is located within the premises of Polatech Metals and has, up to 2018, been an integrated and crucial part of a 100+ year old steel-making tradition.
All testing is performed with modern and calibrated test equipment and according to procedures based on recognized standards.
Testing personnel holds high competence for the testing performed and they are committed to act impartial to Polatech Metals (SSA).
SSI is certified according to NS-EN ISO 9001: 2015 and NS-EN ISO 14001: 2015.
